Coretek was founded in March, 2001 in Hsin Chu, Taiwan and began mass production of chip technologies in April of 2001. In June of 2001, Their released their first optical transceivers of 155Mbp/s in both single mode and multi mode. By January, 2002 they had a complete optical product portfolio ranging from 155Mbs to 2.5Gbs. Their XFP product line was released in March, 2004, rounding out their data rate portfolio. In February, 2008 they released their GEPON ONT product offerings. Their SFP+ product offerings were released in January, 2009. In October, 2009, they finalized their GPON ONT and OLT product offerings.
